Frequently asked questions
How does the 2-month free trial work?
When you sign up for any paid plan, your first 2 months are completely free — no credit card required to start. After the trial ends, your plan billing begins on the original monthly or annual cycle. If you're on the Free plan, you also get full Growth (or Pro) features during your first 2 months, then revert to the Free limits.
What happens after the trial if I don't upgrade?
You'll be moved to the Free plan automatically. If you have more than 2 active projects at that point, the extra projects will be restricted (read-only) until you upgrade or archive some projects. Your data is never deleted.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings → Billing. If you upgrade mid-cycle you pay a prorated amount. If you downgrade, you keep your current plan until the billing period ends.
What happens if I exceed my project limit?
You'll be prompted to upgrade before creating a new project. Existing projects beyond your plan limit are restricted to read-only access — they are never deleted.
Does ErbanX take a cut of marketplace sales?
Yes — 8% on all marketplace transactions. This is deducted automatically from vendor payouts via Paystack split payments. The buyer always pays the full listed price.
Is there a fee on contracts or property sales?
For contracts completed through the platform, a 7% success fee applies to the winning professional. For property sales, a 2% fee applies to the developer and a 7–8% agent fee applies to the buyer.
What payment methods are accepted?
Card, bank transfer, USSD and mobile money — all via Paystack. All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation so you can export it at any time. After that, it is permanently deleted.
